Occasionally we may ask for some log files from the Morpho readers for analysis by Idemia. To do this please follow the step below -
First Ensure MBTB is installed on your machine
Link here to download and run through the installation process.
1. Open Morpho Tool Box .
2-
Ensure you have a USB memory stick (8GB max) that is formatted in FAT32 format and that it is inserted into the computer USB connector.
3- Select "Tools" from the left hand menu icons - reader icon with spanner and screwdriver on screen - select the Usb Script tab and generate a USB script to enable the logs (trace level
or debug level...) . Click the "Write Usb Script" and select the drive letter of the USB to the reader to apply the script. Ensure that the script is written to the root of the USB drive - not into a folder.
3- Remove the USB stick from the computer and insert into the USB connector on the reader . Reboot the
reader to enable the logging
4-
Replicate the issue, or wait for the issue until
replicated if random.
5- To obtain the logs another script is created on the memory stick. Open Morpho tool box, select tools and the Usb Script tab to create the USB script file. Generate a
script as per the screenshot below to get the debug logs.
6- Connect the USB
again to the reader to get the log.
