How do I ensure that events received from the controller have the correct date and time?

Identity Access synchronises the controllers’ clocks with the PC when the software is started and again automatically at 2 am each morning. To manually synchronise the controllers’ clocks with the PC clock, go to the dashboard and click on the [Sync Time] button in the Controller Status window.

If your server is in a separate time zone to the Controller it is also possible to set the UTC time per controller. This can be set by going to Setup > Controllers. Edit the controller and click on Settings.
