Knowledge base 129: Sigma Lite + KeyPad entry - turning off the success message containing the PIN
When using the Sigma, Sigma Lite Plus, Morpho Wave or VisionPass readers it is possible to create a profile for the user to utilise a PIN only profile.
By default (parameter value 7) when the user gains access to through a door the User ID, user Name and timestamp are displayed
To reduce "shoulder surfing" of a users information being noted you can stop this from being shown on the LCD display.
Log into MorphoManager and edit the Biometric Device Configuration.
Click Next until you see the Custom Parameters page -
Add the following settings shown below:
success_message.display_information
Value = 2
Value = 2
Device Type = All
This changes the success message to only display the user name.

3 | User ID and user name are displayed |
4 | Only timestamp is displayed |
5 | User ID and timestamp are displayed |
6 | User name and timestamp are displayed |
