Knowledge base 218 - Issuing Mobile Credentials for Paxton Net2

In this article, you will learn how to gain access to your mobile portal, and then start issuing credentials. Before you begin, please ensure you know your username for the portal (usually your email) and the password. 


  1. To issue out mobile credentials, first please browse to the following URL –

  1. At the login page, please log in with your user credentials, this will be your email address for the username and the password you configured originally, if you can’t remember your password please use the FORGOT PASSWORD? Link.

  2. Once logged in, click ‘Mobile Identities’


  1. From the next screen clic-
  2. Now you can either enrol a single user or multiple users via a CSV file or XLS. Please choose the preferred method.


  1.  For single users type their email address, first name and Last name.


  1. Next, decide if you wish to either:

  1. Send a user an invitation code and enrol them without automatically sending out the mobile ID.

or


  1. Select the invitation code and reserve Mobile ID(s) that will be issued when the user accepts the invitation code.



  1. Ensure the user has followed the instructions on the email which they are automatically sent which involves downloading the HID Mobile Access’ APP from the Apple Store or Google Play store and entering an invitation code from the email.


  1. For users who are enrolled without automatically sending out the Mobile ID, once they have accepted the invitation code, you must log back into the portal and edit the userFrom the edit page you will see the option to Issue a mobile ID, please click this button to issue an ID.

  2. If you chose to reserve the mobile ID you can view which number the user has been sent from within the same Edit page. This will be shown as the Credential value.


  1. Login to Paxton Net2.
  2. Click on Users and select New User

      16. As a minimum, add the First Name, Surname, Access Level. The Token Number field should match the mobile ID as assigned in the HID Mobile Access portal.
