Knowledge base 192: CP1000 showing 'Not authenticated' in Asure ID

Scenario: You have a machine running Asure ID with a CP1000 plugged in, you then use Remote Desktop (RDP) to connect to the machine to apply some HID config credits or a HID card format file.

Issue: The CP1000 shows as 'Not authenticated' in Asure ID after using RDP to connect.

Cause: This is not the intended and due to the nature of the product could be deemed a security risk in some situations.
