Knowledge base 199: Locating facility codes using Identity Access
It's not always clear which facility code has been encoded onto a card, but using Identity access you are able to locate this information very easily by following the steps below.
Requirements:
An iNet door controller configured for facility codes.
Identity Access version 9.1.x or above installed.
Identity Access version 9.1.x or above installed.
An access control reader that supports facility codes e.g. HID, Third Millennium etc.

Locating a facility code.
- Log into the Identity Access User Interface.
- Select View from the top menu and tick Viewer windows as shown below
- You will now see a window at the bottom of the screen, make sure that you are looking at Access log tab by clicking Access Log from the left hand tabs -
- Now badge a card on a reader, you will see in the access log viewer the facility code is displayed.
