Knowledge Base 234: Identity Access Photo Importer
This Knowledge Base explains how to use the Photo Importer tool to import images for any user(s) on the system.
Controlsoft highly recommends that you perform a full system backup before using the Photo Importer
Run the IA.PhotoImport.exe
Use the following as the IA Main Connection String: Data Source=.\IDENTITYACCESS;Initial Catalog=IAMain;Integrated Security=False;User ID=sa;Password=C0ntr0lS0ftAdm1n@!
Enter the file path of the folder where the photos are saved
Ensure that the photos are named in the correct format to match what is entered in the Image Format Field.
Here is a photo name used in this example (21 21 .jpg)
You can choose if you want to overwrite existing photos. Tick if you wish to overwrite or leave unticked if you don't.
Click Start
Click OK
You can now close the Importer. You should now see that the photos in that folder have been imported for each matching user in Identity Access.
