Licensing instructions for Idemia MSO enrolment devices

This document describes the procedure for applying a license to an MSO enrolment device.

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
• PC installed with (x64) Morpho MultiProtect License Manager software.

1) Requesting the licenses -

a) Plug in the MSO enrolment device.

b) Open the MultiProtect License Manager (GUI) software which is installed with MorphoManager / Identity Access. This is accessed through Start > All Apps > Morpho > MultiProtect License Manager x.x.x GUI.

c) Once the License Manager software is running, under MSO check that the number against “Serial” is the same as the “License ID” printed on the carton or the label under the reader.

d) Right-click on the serial number under the MSO device and select Copy to clipboard.


e) Paste the Serial number into an email and send to licensing@controlsoft.com.

i) Controlsoft will then process your request and return the license file(s) back to you. 

2) Applying the license File(s) -

a) When the license file(s) arrive, save them in an accessible location (e.g. on the desktop).

b) Open the MultiProtect License Manager (GUI) which is installed with MorphoManager / Identity Access. This is accessed through Start > All Apps > Morpho > MultiProtect License Manager x.x.x GUI.

c) Click “Add License”. Browse to the file that you received from Controlsoft checking that the file name correlates with the reader’s Serial Number.  A popup message will appear stating “License has been correctly set”, click [OK].

d) The reader's license has now been applied and should appear next License under MSO -
