These steps are for subscription renewal only.  For first-time activation, follow Identity Access Software - Guide to licensing

On the PC running the Server version of Identity Access, in a Web Browser, go to www.controlsoft.com/license

Click 'License update'

Click the 'Update licenses' button

You will get the message, 'Licenses updated successfully'

Notes
In the event that the PC running the Server version of Identity Access does not have internet, or the update license button is greyed out, the renewal must be applied with V2C file on the email from Controlsoft licensing.


Download the V2c file from the email. Copy this to the PC running the Server version of Identity Access.

On the server running Identity Access. Open the Start menu, and open the License utility.

Click 'Apply License File'

Click the Three Dots ...

In the File Explorer, highlight the V2C file and click Open

Click, 'Apply Update'

You should then get the message, 'Update written successfully'.

To check the license status, reopen the Identity Access software. Click the 'Home' tab and press 'About'


The license type will be displayed along with an expiry date
