The AsureID access database has a maximum size of 2GB. If the end user has placed photos into the database then this can quickly fill up the default access (*.mdb) database.
You can remove the photos from the database and import them from a file location on your computer. To remove the photos and save them as BMP files follow the steps below.
Compress the database via access to below 2GB to restore editing.
Create a new folder to store the photographs in on an available drive - e.g. c:\BadgePhoto.
Open Asure ID, open a template, select data entry and right click on the record photograph
Select the option to save the image to file and name the file with a reference to a field in the record - "name" is recommended.
Right-click on the photograph again and select the delete option.
Repeat for every record.
Open the card design section and open the template used.
Click on the photograph field and delete.
Select the photo button from the menu and click and drag the item to the desired place on the card template.
The properties will open, click Use a Folder Data Source
The options on the right will change, browse to the new folder generated and select.
Then chose the Key Field that you used for the photograph file names.
Select Ok to exit properties and then save the template changes.
Once ALL photos have been removed then the database can be compacted again via access.
