In some cases it may be required to connect an iNet controller to a PC without any network infrastructure.
To make this possible the iNet controller can be reset to an IP Address of 10.0.1.230 by holding the reset button for 30 seconds. The PC also needs to be in the same IP Network range.
1. On the Identity Access PC, in the Windows search bar type "Control Panel". Select the Control Panel app.
2. In the top right hand corner, ensure "View by" has "Large Icons" checked. Select "Network and Sharing Centre".
3. Select "Change adapter settings" on the left hand pane
4. Right click on "Ethernet" and select "Properties"
5. Scroll down and select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)", then select "Properties".
6. Select "Use the Following IP Address". For the "IP address" type in "10.0.1.200". For the "Subnet mask" type in "255.255.255.0". The Default Gateway, Preferred DNS and Alternate DNS settings can remain blank.
7. Click OK and close all other menus. You can now continue to Step 6 of the Identity Access Express Commissioning Guide.
